Feest in Marlot, met vlaggen, oranje wimpels en taart!
Het bestuur nodigt jong en oud van harte uit voor de viering van Koningsdag. We beginnen als vanouds met de traditionele fietsoptocht door Marlot, onder begeleiding van het draaiorgel. We verzamelen op het Bloklandenplein, met zo mooi mogelijk versierde fietsen, driewielers, en kinderwagens.
Let op: i.v.m. de veiligheid, blijven we allemaal ACHTER het draaiorgel!
Na de optocht starten de festiviteiten op het Zuidwerfplein. Limonade staat klaar en er mag gesmuld worden van de zelfgebakken taarten. Ook voor koffie en thee doen we een beroep op u, feestvierders. Neemt u een gevulde thermoskan mee?
(speelgoed, kunst & kitsch en andere overbodige huisraad…)
Aanvang 10.15 uur op het Zuidwerfplein
Programma
| 10.30 | Verzamelen op het Bloklandenplein bij het draaiorgel |
| 10.45 | Fietsoptocht door Marlot: de mooiste 3 fietsen krijgen een prijs! |
| 11.15 | Taartenbakwedstrijd en koffie: van elke Marlot-familie wordt verwacht dat ze een zo mooi en lekker mogelijke koningstaart bakken. Een deskundige jury beoordeelt uw taart op smaak en originaliteit. De taarten worden bij de koffie geserveerd. |
| 11.15 – 12.15 | Schminken, stoepkrijten en skippyballen |
| 12.15 | Prijsuitreiking voor de fietsen en taarten en toost op de koning |

Voetbalwedstrijd in de speeltuin. Kinderen tegen de ouders. (bij voldoende deelnemers) |
| 14.00 – 15.00 | Hotdogs op het Zuidwerfplein waarna gezamenlijk opruimen |

The Marlot Association invites both young and old to join the festivities.
The celebration will start with a parade through Marlot, accompanied by a street organ. The parade will start at the Bloklandenplein with beautifully decorated tricycles, cycles or strollers.
Please note: for everybody’s safety, we ALL stay BEHIND the organ.
After the parade there will be activities on the Zuidwerfplein. Refreshments will be available and you can enjoy home-made cakes and coffee. We ask participants to bring a beautiful/original/funny “King’s Day cake” and flasks of coffee or tea.

| 11.15 | Cake baking competition and coffee: we ask every Marlot family to bake a decorative and delicious King’s cake. The creativity and flavor will be judged by an expert panel. The cakes will be served with coffee. |
| 11.15 – 12.15 | Face painting, sidewalk chalk and space hoppers |
| 12.15 | Prizes for the bicycles, cakes and a toast to the King |
| 13.00 | Football competition at the playground. Children against parents. |
| 14.00 – 15.00 | Hotdogs on the Zuidwerfplein and cleaning up together |
